en route from Indian to China.

The crashed at Molungkimong
This is in Nagaland, India
12 Crew members died.

They had taken off from Jorhat, India  and were headed to Kunming, China.


They  were buried overseas and brought to the US in 1950. All 12 were
in the same grave as they were not identifiable except by the aircraft.

They are buried in the

Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery Lemay Township,  St Louis County, Missouri

There is a memorial stone in Mokokchung. They held a memorial for them in 2021
