He was born in Cannon 29 Dec 1917 - died in Croatia 16 Feb 1945
Son of Reece F Davis Sr also born in Cannon, Mother -
Clothilda Almeda "Lona" Hensley Davis. Both buried in Lubbock.
 They had all lived in Gunter in 1930.

His grandparents are in Cannon Cemetery, Grayson Co

He married Grace Pollard and they lived in Ralls at the time he died' They
are in the 1940 Census. They lived in and married in Abilene, Taylor Co. Wed 10 Apr 1939.
They lived in Rural Grocon, Texas in 1935.

I can't find more newspaper articles. In that period of time war news
was sketchy and always put in the paper some time later after an event. Often
they didn't add much in detail as it might give the enemy too much information of
movements. If you have anything to share please email me.
