He was son of Frederick Charles Tempelmeyer (d 1927)and Alice Bertha Cooper Tempelmeyer.(d 1926)

I saw an article listing him in High School activities; Charles Tempelmeyer played Center at Denison High School, 1941. Another he eared a Football Sweater. (Letter Sweater)

In the 1940 Census he is living in rural Denison with
Melvin and Jewel Tempelmeyer. It says he was born Alabama in that document.

In the 1930 Census he is living with his grandparents; Fred H & Emma Tempelmeyer. It says he was born in Nebraska.

He died in Oakland, Alameda, California, in the Naval Hospital there.

He married in New Zealand to Joan Edna Brydon in 1943

He was buried in Fairview Cemetery in Denison, where his parents are also buried.

His grave has a second stone that reads.
Although I never knew you I will always miss you.
