113 acres of graves.

LORRAINE AMERICAN CEMETERY, ST AVOLD, FRANCE

I have not found a newspaper article about him.
That particular period of the war was very secret.
I found a case in which a soldier died "in the Pacific Theater"
but actually died in France. They were keeping anyone from knowing
where the units were and they also revealed someone dying until
it was safe to report it.

Also the fact he was left in the cemetery there
didn't generate news articles about a burial. Many
who died and are buried there were brought home for reburial
but his family chose not to. So no article at that time.

His parents and other family members are buried in the Sadler Cemetery
