Thursday, Feb 24, 2005, at her home.
Surviving are her husband, William Abernathy of Whitewright; son, Allen Bennatt of Little Elm; daughter Lisa Esch of Van Alstyne; brothers, James Burkhalter of Carrollton and Bobby Burkhalter of Houston; sister, Molly Morris of Houston; and seven grandchildren.
