Denison - Harry Joseph Armstrong, 33-year-old chemical plant operator at Texas Instruments was found dead near his home early Tuesday from a gunshot wound.
Justice of the Peace Charles Odle ruled that death was caused by a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Flesher Funeral Home Chapel in Van Alstyne.
The Rev. Eugene Hoover of Calvary Baptist Church in Denison will officiate.
Burial will be in Van Alstyne Cemetery.
Mr. Armstrong was born in Mannheim, Germany, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Armstrong, and married Sharron Gentry on Nov. 2, 1974, in Sherman.
He was a Catholic.
Surviving are his wife of Denison; daughter, Shanna Armstrong of Denison; sons, Kevin Armstrong and Sean Armstrong, both of Denison; mother, Mrs. Anita Armstrong of Denison; grandmother, Mrs. Eva Heckmann of Sherman.
Pallbearers are Robert O'Rear, James Rigdon, Larry Powell, John Hoover, Earl Howard and Ray Barnett. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and other times at the Albert Gentry residence in the Dobbins Estate west of Van Alstyne.
