MISS JONES,
DR. ALVAREZ TO BE WED
Dr.
and Mrs. Reed W. Jones, Jr., Denison, Texas
announce the engagement of
their daughter, Duren Virnelle, to Dr. Luis
Alfonso Alvarez, son of
Mrs. Maria Ana Alvarez of El Paso and the
late Buenaventura Alvarez.
The couple
will be married at 2 p.m. August 31 in St.
Patrick's Catholic Church in Denison.
Miss
Jones is employed at Brackenridge Hospital
in Austin, Texas. She
was graduated from Texas Women's University
School of Nursing.
Dr.
Alvarez is a third year resident in
psychiatry at Parkland Hospital in
Dallas. He was graduated from the
University of Texas and
Southwestern Medical School.
