He was born in Baltimore, Md.
He lived in Virginia two years before his death in Denison.
His wife; Mary Ann Abbott 1820-18 Aug 1881, she was buried in the Oakwood Cemetery in Denison,TX.

She married Frank Findley Fee. 6 Children.

He married May Davis Evans.  They had 1 child.

She married Benjamin Turner Cary. Buried in Forest Park Cem. in Houston.

He died in Collegeport, Matagorda, Texas on 13 Jan 1913. He was buried in the Fairview Cemetery in Denison.
His death certificate says he was born 15 Mar 1845 in Baltimore, Md. and was a hotel manager.
His parents were William W Kone & Mary Abbott. Mary was born in Ireland.
The informant was signed by ;
Mrs Mamie Kone Fee of Little Rock, Ark.

Sunday, June 25, 1893-Mr William Kone, father to Messrs. O B & L C Kone, died last night in South Denison. The remains were interred in Fairview Cemetery this evening between 4 and 5 o'clock.

The Rev W W Kone, aged 90 years was the oldest Baptist Minister in the United States having entered the ministry at the age of eighteen. He was for a number of years a missionary to the Oregon Indians.
