Sunday Gazeteer 24 Feb 1884 (Leonora S Standifer Kone)	Orlando B Kone He died in Collegeport, Matagorda, Texas on 13 Jan 1913. He was buried in the Fairview Cemetery in Denison. His death certificate says he was born 15 Mar 1845 in Baltimore, Md. and was a hotel manager. His parents were William W Kone & Mary Abbott. Mary was born in Ireland. The informant was signed by ; Mrs Mamie Kone Fee of Little Rock, Ark. He was a "Guardian" in the Knights of Honor "K of H"
Sunday Gazetteer 2 Jul 1893 Local Condensations Sunday, June 25, 1893-Mr William Kone, father to Messrs. O B & L C Kone, died last night in South Denison. The remains were interred in Fairview Cemetery this evening between 4 and 5 o'clock. Sunday Gazetteer 8 Feb 1891 "Rev William Kone of Virginia, visits his sons, O B & Lee of Denison." The Baltimore Sun 28 Jun 1893 The Rev W W Kone, aged 90 years was the oldest Baptist Minister in the United States having entered the ministry at the age of eighteen.
