Benjamin Franklin Stubblefield was born February 11, 1850 in Mooresburg, Hawkins Co., Tennnessee and died March 8, 1944 in Cooke Co., Texas. Benjamin married Mary S. Reynolds May 27, 1869 in Hawkins Co., Tennessee. She was born July 24, 1847 in Virginia, daughter of Thomas Runnells and Charlotte Anglin and died July 1, 1928 at Woodbine, Cooke Co., Texas. Callisburg, Cooke Co., Texas.He married Ellen Unknown who was born October 7, 1864 in Callisburg, Cooke Co., Texas, and died February 5, 1946, in Callisburg, Cooke Co., Texas. Wyatt Lee and Ellen Stubblefield are buried in Callisburg Cemetery. Ellen had children from her 1st marriage. She and Wyatt had a daughter, Verta Mae "Vertie" Stubblefield, who was born in 1894 and died in 1965 in Callisburg Cooke Co., Texas, also buried at Callisburg Cemetery. Vertie married A. J. Osborn. Stubblefield, born August 15, 1871 in Hawkins
Co., Tennessee., died
on December 21, 1942 in Whitesboro, Grayson
Co., Texas, and is buried in Callisburg
Cemetery, Cooke Co., Texas. He married on July 28, 1895 in
Whitesboro, Grayson Co., Texas to Alice
(Bartlett/Bartley). Alice was born March 28,
1876 in Grayson Co., Texas. She was orphaned
at a very young age and adopted by the William
V. Eskew family of Whitesboro, Texas. Family
tales are that her parents died and are buried
on an uncle's farm somewhere near Whitesboro.
The uncle's last name may have been Wiseman,
or something of the sort. Alice died November 24, 1964 and is
buried in Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro,
Grayson County Texas. Alice was not buried beside Thomas
because one of Thomas's brother, or another
family member was buried in her plot. Alice's two brothers were: Allen
Bartley, married December 20, 1893 in
Kentuckytown, Grayson Co. Texas to Nettie
Missouri Falls and Alfred Bartley. Allen died
on February 5, 1953 in California, as did
Alfred. Alfred never married. Thomas
& Alice had the following Children: Pearl

Stubblefield, Alfred Lee Stubblefield, Lois
Edna Stubblefield, Ada Stubblefield, Vera Elfa
Stubblefield, Claude Marion Stubblefield,

"Bill" Stubblefield was born March 26, 1876.
John William
Stubblefield was born February 11, 1877,
Hawkins Co., Tennessee and died January 1969,
Atoka Co., Oklahoma. He married Mallie Lone
Coady about 1914, Cooke Co., Texas. Mallie was
born in August 1876, Tennessee and died March
22, 1962, Cooke Co., Texas. They are buried in
Callisburg Cemetery, Cooke Co., Texas. Granville
Stubblefield was born September 12, 1879,
Cooke Co., Texas and died December 16, 1957,
Whitesboro, Grayson Co., Texas. Oscar
Stubblefield was born September 20, 1885 in
Texas, and died in March 1971 in Jones Co.,
Texas. Charles
"Charley" Stubblefield was born June 12, 1889
and died September 29, 1918. He is buried in
Callisburg Cemetery, Callisburg, Cooke Co.,
Texas. He married Lonia Kemper. Benjamin
Franklin Stubblefield Jr. was born August 2,
1887, Cooke Co., Texas and died in May 1976,
Wichita Co., Texas. He married Jo Griffith.
Pearl
Stubblefield was born April 10, 1893 and died
in Kansas. She married Vertie Self.
