Patrick Henry "Uncle Pat" Tobin left his Missouri farm in 1890 to visit his six sons, who had started their railroad careers before reaching the age of 21 in Denison, Texas.   David and George Francis Tobin were conductors on the T & P.  William Henry was running a passenger train on the M.K.& T.  Dennis H. was engineer on the same line and James C. was road foreman of engines for the Mexican National Railroad, located in Mexico City.  Patriick Henry "Pat", Jr. had just retired from railroad service.  "Uncle Pat" rode to Ft. Worth with William Henry, with David from Ft. Worth to Big Springs, and with George to El Paso.  During his visit, James came from Mexico City to Denison to see his father and made the trip west with him.  After being joined by the rest of his sons at various points, they went home to Missouri.

Writing on the back says "possibly around 1914".

J.C. Tobin died in spring 1930.  The stock farm was listed for sale in a Dallas newspaper.
