Birge-Ellis-Hodges-Wolfe-Lough
House

Sherman, Texas
Rick Wright designed the restoration in 1985.
Coincidentally, it was built by his great uncle W.W. Birge in 1910.
The house earned a first-place award from the Sherman Preservation
League in 1991.
Wright's great-great grandfather was N.A. “Cap’n” Birge, who settled in
Sherman in 1874.
