Mary Francis Darnell Sadler of Bedford, Texas left this life to be with our Lord on April 18, 2020.  Services were held in Sherman, Texas.  Due to COVID 19 the services will be at a future date when out-of-town family can freely travel and attend.
Mary was born June 16, 1929 in Sherman, Texas.  She was a longtime member of Key Memorial Methodist Church in Sherman.  She loved her family, home and many friends.  During her life, Mary was a telephone operator, an employee of IRS, a wonderful homemaker, a creative artist, and a sharp, highly competitive bridge player.  The wife of a World War II veteran and Commissioned Officer of the Public Health Service, Mary called multiple cities and states home.  She returned to Texas with her husband when he retired.  In Texas she called Austin, Sherman and Bedford home.  Mary was known by her sweet smile.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, Jennings "Jinks" Darnell and Ruth Bowden Darnell; and her son, William Sadler.
Survivors are her brother, Bobby "B.J." Darnell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; daughter, Sharon Sadler Kuykendall and husband, Samuel, of Bedford, Texas; her 3 granddaughters, Melissa Sadler and husband, Rudy Vera, of Seguin, Texas; Sarah Kuykendall Butler and her husband, Chris, of Denver, Colorado; Sydney Kuykendall Donovan and husband, Clay, of Denver, Colorado; her 3 great-grandchildren, Brandon Sadler, Jason Butler, and Ethan Butler; and a loving extended family.
