Bennett Marker at Lindley Cemetery There is a highway sign indicating the location of this Historical Monument on Highway 90.

This monunment erected to the memory of:
James R. Bennett, Mary Ann Bennett, Nancy Bennett, James Wm. Bennett, William H. Bennett, Anna Bennett, Rufus Bennett, Mary L. Bennett, and Carolyn Bennett
Who are buried her in unmarked graves and to all others, unknown, who are also buried here. They were pioneers who settled and worked this land.
This cemetery was established around the mid 1800's by the Bennett and Preston families who settled here in 1841.
Erected by family and friends of the Bennett and Preston families - 1996.

Directions - located south of Roans Prairie off of Hwy. 90 and County Road 280.
