Graveside services for Ramon Gonzales Jr., of Pharr will be held 10 a. m. Saturday at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City with the Rev. Edward Boren officiating.

A rosary will be said at 7 p. m. today at the Taylor Brothers Funeral Home chapel.

Mr. Gonzales was born Feb. 15, 1930, to Ramon and Sara Maldonado Gonzales Sr. and died Feb. 5, 1992 in McAllen.

Mr. Gonzales was retired from Texas Gulf Sulphur after 30 years of service and was affiliated with the Catholic church.

Survivors include his wife, Julia Gonzales, Pharr, a daughter, Sara Gonzales of Pharr, and two sons, Ruban Solis of Houston and Mario Gonzales of Silsbee.

Arrangements are with Taylor Brothers Funeral Home in Bay City.

Final services for 11-year-old Victor Gonzales, who had drowned in Galveston Bay Sunday, were held at 11:30 am Wednesday in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father J. P. Shannon officiating.  A family rosary was held at 7:30 pm Tuesday at the Bay City Funeral Home.

The youth, a fourth-grade student at Van Vleck, fell overboard while on an outing on his uncle’s shrimp boat in the bay Sunday.  He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Pedro Gonzales of Van Vleck. He is also survived by four brothers and two sisters.

Mrs. San Juana Gonzales, 60, a resident of Bay City, passed away Wednesday, August 30, at her home.  Survivors include husband, Victor Gonzales of Bay City; mother, Mrs. Eva Gonzales of Banquete, Texas; 3 sons, Guillermo Gonzales of Banquete, Robert Gonzales of Bay City and Raul Gonzales of Pindale, California; 7 daughters, Mrs. Emma Mungia of Immakle, Florida, Mrs. Oraila Martinez of Bay City, Mrs. Anita Nevares of Palacios, Mrs. Minerva Zaboral of Bay City, Herminio Gonzales of Bay City, Olivia Gonzales of Bay City, and Carmen Gonzales of Bay City; 2 sisters, Mrs. Maria Pena of Banquete and Mrs. Lilly Ferlandez of Corpus Christi; 4 brothers, Herminio Gonzales of Banquete, Gregorio Gonzales of Banquete, Encarnacion Gonzales of Banquete and Crespin Gonzales Jr. of Alice, Texas; 37 grandchildren.  Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 2, at 10 a.m. at the Emanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Candido Gonzales officiating.  Interment will be at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City.  Funeral services are under the direction of Dick R., Elkins, Bay City Funeral Home

Funeral services for Victor Gonzales, 88 of Bay City, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2000 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home Chapel followed by burial at Cedarvale Cemetery.

Mr. Gonzales died Friday, Jan. 21, 2000 in Bay City. He was born Nov. 22, 1911 in San Diego, Texas to Jose and Lorqueria Gonzales.

He is survived by: four daughters, Herminia Gonzales, Minevera Zboral, Olivia Canto and Carmelita Gonzales, all of Bay City; sons, Robert Gonzales of Bay City and Raul Gonzales of Houston; brothers, Albert Gonzales of Fresno, Calif. and Benito Gonzales of Bay City, 55 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will include Benito Munguia, Arthur Rodriguez, Julian Garcia, Rudy Martinez, Daniel Gonzales and Joe Canto.

Arrangements are with Taylor Bros. Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Michael Ray Hernandez of Bay City were held at 10 a. m. today at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, with the Rev. Joseph Shannon officiating. Rosary was said Thursday at the Taylor Brothers Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in the Cedarvale Cemetery.

Hernandez, aged three months, was born Oct. 18. 1983, in Bay City and died Jan. 26, 1984, in Matagorda General Hospital.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Hernandez of Bay City;  sister, Natalie Rene Hernandez of Bay City; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Hernandez Jr. of Bay City; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Lorraine Scheel of Bay City; paternal great grandmother, Mrs. Raymond Hernandez Sr. of Bay City; and paternal great grandfather, C. C. Rivera of Wharton.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Taylor Brothers Funeral Home of Bay City.

Funeral services for Catarina Longoria, 88, of Bay City were scheduled for 10 am today at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Rev. Ed Mundwiller officiating. A rosary was held 7 pm Sunday at Taylor Brothers Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. Longoria was born May 28, 1901, in Thomastown, Texas to Vicente and Thomas Aguilar Rodriguez and died 2:50 am June 17, 1989, in Angleton-Danbury Hospital, Angleton.

A lifelong resident of Bay City, she was a member of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Survivors include six daughters, Anito Luna of Victoria, Petra Rocha of Bay City, Lillie Sanchez and Angelia Longoria of Angleton, Tila Martinez of Kennor, La. And Linda Hernandez of Killeen; three sons, Richard Longoria Sr. and Rudy Longoria of Bay City and Manuel Longoria of Angleton; two sisters, Locadia Medina of Houston and Thomas Reyna of Bay City; 34 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are with Taylor Brothers Funeral Home, Bay City.

Requiem mass was said at 11 am today at Our lady of Guadalupe Church for Mrs. Juanita R. Lopez, 74, 1420 Avenue L, Bay City followed by interment in Cedarvale Cemetery.

Mrs. Lopez died at her residence Sunday.  Rosary was said Sunday night at Taylor Brothers Funeral Chapel.  The Rev. F. Dugeas officiated.

Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Josephine Guzman, Bay City; Mrs., Beatrice Lopez, Mrs. Fanie Ramos and Janie Harvey, all of Palacios; sons, Esabel Lopez and Frank Lopez, Palacios.

Omega McIntosh

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 pm Wednesday in Taylor Brothers Funeral Chapel, Bay City, for Mrs. Omega McIntosh, Collegeport.

Mrs. McIntosh, 76, died in Matagorda General Hospital Monday night.  She had been a resident of Matagorda County for more than 40 years.  The Rev. R. E. Black will officiate, and interment will be in Cedarvale Cemetery.

Surviving are daughters, Miss Aline Mcintosh, Houston; Mrs. Virie Brinkley, Houston; Mrs. Aubrey Blackwell, Palacios; sons, Ernest McIntosh, Bay City; George McIntosh, Orange.

Herr grandsons will be pallbearers.
