Eddie Stanford  Eddie “Frog” Stanford Funeral services for Mr. Eddie “Frog” Stanford, 63, of Waco will be held 11 a. m. Saturday at the Mother Zion Baptist Church in Bay City with the Rev. L. V. Harvey officiating. Burial will be in Eastview Cemetery in Bay City. Visitation hours will 3 – 9 p. m. Friday at Duncan-Roberts Funeral Home. Mr. Stanford was born March, 1921, and died May 14, 1984, at the V. A. Hospital in Waco. He was a veteran of World War II and a former resident of Bay City. He was the son of the late Hessie Stanford and the former Margaret Bonner. Survivors include: wife, Mrs. Ernestine Stanford of Bay City; daughter, Mrs. Rhonda Brown of Bay City; son, Eddie Stanford; seven step-children; three brothers, Ben Boone of Oakland, Calif., Carey Stanford and Dave Simmons of Bay City; two sisters, Mrs. Alfred Harris and Mrs. Gertrude Stanford of Bay City; one aunt, Mrs. Mary Lee Veal of Hitchcock; seven grandchildren; and a host of nephews and nieces. Active pallbearers will be Larry Randon, Herbert Stanford, Larnell Hawkins, Eddie Stanford, Robert Lee Clark and Kenneth Spann. Arrangements were made with Duncan-Roberts Funeral Home.
