BAY CITY—Lemon Davis, 98, of Bay City, died Wednesday, August 25, 2004. He was born January 10, 1906, in Iago, to George and Parthenia Sanders Davis.

Survivors; sister, Mary Rhones of Port Lavaca.

Graveside services will be 4 pm today at Eastview Cemetery in Bay City, the Rev. K. J. Griggs officiating.

Funeral services for Shaun Franklin Green, 20, of Bay City, Texas will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2006 at Mother Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Bay City, Texas with the Minister Johnathan T. Price, Abundant Grace Christian Center, Dallas, Texas, officiating. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery, Bay City, Texas. Shaun will lie in state from noon until 1 p.m. at Mother Zion Missionary Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held at Green's Mortuary from noon until 8 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2006. Family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Shaun and his twin Shelli were born to the union of Frederick E. Green and Linda Franklin Green on October 16, 1985, in John Sealy Hospital, Galveston, Texas. He graduated to his heavenly rest on Sunday, April 2, 2006. Shaun graduated from Bay City High School, May 2004. His certificates recognition: Team Captain 2002 until 2003; Certificate of Recognition - All Academics; Football - Offense MVP; 2003 1st All District Receiver. Scored only touch down in the State Final Game on a 70 yard reception 2003.

In College State, Texas; 2003 had 57 receptions for 1,053 yards and 10 touchdowns, Member (South) - Texas High School Coaches Association North - South All-Stars Team.

Shaun has always been quiet and a man of few words. he walked his own path, he dared to be his own man. He lived out God's Commandment, "Honor Thy Father and Thy Mother." His actions earned him respect of his friends, peers, teachers and family.

He is survived by: his parents, Frederick E. and Linda F. Green; brother, Girard Green and his twin, Shelli Wa Nett' Green, all of Bay City, Texas; grandparents, Robert L. and Margaret of Bay City, Texas, William and Willie L. Franklin of Live Oak, Texas; god son, Kaevion Pettie of Bay City, Texas. A special friend, Kapetrich Wallace; aunts, Wanda G. Jackson (Ivory), Roni F. Williams, Celita F. Wright (Kerry), Paula Franklin, Anna F. Alexander (Morris); uncles, Robert L. Green, Jr. (Teresa), Anthony Q. Green, Robbie Franklin, William Franklin, Jr.; cousins, Waylon, Shante, Charles, Ty'Nee, Myrium, Cierra, Morrisha, LaDarius, Jasmine and a host of great aunts and uncles and other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers will be, John Roberson, Cassidy Price, Chris Hicks, Jerayle Franklin, Bryan Richmond, Stanley Garrett, and Broderick Gartica.

Honorary pallbearers will be, Anthony Q. Green, Robert L. Green, Jr., Waylon Jackson, Robbie Franklin, Ron Price, Ty Nee Franklin, La Darious Alexander, William Franklin, Charles Morgan, Jr., and Myrium Davis.

Ollie Moore III, 15, a resident of Bay City passed away at Matagorda General Hospital October 11. Survivors include: parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Moore Jr. of Bay City; 3 sisters, Andrea, Jacqueline and Alesia of Bay City; 3 brothers, Ricky, Nathaniel, and Gregory of Bay City; maternal grandparents, Mrs. Nathaniel  Trunnell of Oakland, Calif. and Eddie Austin of Bay City; paternal grandparents, Mrs. Lulean Williams of Bay City and Ollie Moore Sr. of Houston; a host of uncles and aunts.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 14, at 2 pm at the Tyree Chapel AME Church in Bay City with Rev. George Turner officiating.  Interment will be at Eastview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be the Bay City Junior High football team.

Gary Will Nixon, 63, of Bay City, Texas, passed away December 12, 2025, in Bay City. Visitation will be Friday, December 12, 2 pm until 7 at Duncan-Roberts Chapel.

Graveside services will be Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 11 am, at Eastview Cemetery in Bay City.  He leaves a loving family and many friends.

Terry Cecil Robinson, 23, passed away November 4 in the Matagorda General Hospital.  Survivors include: wife, Kay Robinson of Bay City; 2 children, Tara Lynne and Teralyne Cercile of Bay City; 3 sisters, Mrs. Carolyn Bryant of Houston, Lioness and Wynonia L Robinson of Bay City; 2 brothers, Waymon C. Robinson of Houston and Arnold C. Robinson of Bay City.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 9, at the Tyree Chapel Methodist Church at 2 pm with Rev. George Turner officiating.  Interment will be at East View Cemetery.

Vickie LaJoy Woodard, 6, a resident of Bay City and an elementary student at Pierce School, passed away at Matagorda General Hospital November 17.  Survivors include: parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earner Woodard of Bay City; 2 sisters, Earnette and Elaine; 2 brothers, Earner J. and Frederick of Bay City; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Rayfield Partain of By City and Mr. and Mrs. Mason Woodard of Kerrville; a host of aunts and uncles.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 21, at 2pm at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Bay City with Rev. L. C. Cunningham officiating. Interment will be at Eastview Cemetery.
