Tony Eugene Walters

August 15, 1949 - January 13, 2024

Pastor Tony Walters was born August 15, 1949, in Knoxville, Tennessee.  Tony enjoyed the woods and mountains of his childhood. At a very early age he found comfort in going to the woods and talking with God and exploring nature. On May 19th, 2013, Tony was ordained by Jay Bartlett ministry as a deliverance minister. Tony’s trademark smile and bearhugs melted many hearts to set them free and lead them to Jesus. Micki Sue White

August 2, 1948 – October 11, 2023

Micki Sue White passed from this life on October 11, 2023. Micki was born in Bay City, Texas on August 2, 1948, to Isaac Estelle and Jewel Lee White.

She was preceded in death by her parents, I.E. and Jewel White; her one true love, Karl Edward (Eddie) Myhand; and her sister, Carole Joan White.

Micki is survived by her daughter, Melia LaDonna Summa (Brian) of Dallas, Texas; step-daughter, Tana Annette Waters (Chad) of Omaha, Nebraska; grandchildren, Ryleigh and Carleigh Summa, and Zephrm and Zavanah Waters; brother, Charles White; nieces, Julie (Rod) Klassen and Ahn White; nephews, Jeffery Isbell and Kai White; great niece, Sarah Caulfield; great nephew, Aaron Klassen; and her beloved dogs, Radha and Hannah. Micki also leaves behind much extended family including cousins, great-great nieces and nephews and friends who she considered family.

Micki was anything but a one-dimensional person. She was capable of being funny, thoughtful, somber, outgoing, and introverted, all within the course of a few hours. She was an amazing writer and was incredibly creative and talented. She had great love for animals and rescued as many as she could. She was involved in various rescue groups and many of her friends were made through her work with animals. Truth be told, Mick preferred being in the company of animals over humans any day.

Before she passed, Melia asked her if she would like to help write her obituary. Micki replied, “if you’re reading this, I was eaten by a lion and am dead.” When she was first diagnosed with cancer, she promised her granddaughter, Carliegh, that she would live until she was a teenager. Micki kept her promise! That lion ate her three days after Carleigh’s thirteenth birthday.

Micki will be greatly missed by her family and friends, to include her fur babies. During her last days, so many of you expressed how you wished you had more time with her. We all wish we could have had more time. She was loved more than she realized, and our lives are richer for having known her. She is resting in the arms of Jesus.

A memorial service will be held on October 29, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Midfield Church in Midfield, Texas. The church is located on Junetta Street in Midfield. Look for the little white church with a steeple. Reception to follow at 3225 Ave. K, Bay City, Texas. GPS to 2217 Marguerite, and it will bring you to the side of the house where the parking is.

Violet Radell Williams

September 9, 1947 – October 5, 2023

Violet Radell Williams, better known as Radell or Memaw to her grandchildren, took her final trip to her home in Heaven to be with our Lord and Savior on October 5, 2023. She was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on September 9, 1947, to Ray E. an Eddell Virginia Stilwell. She passed away after a long period of extreme pain and suffering from pancreatic cancer. Even though she was just 5’1” tall, she stayed strong and encouraged others with her big smile. Because the light of the Good Lord was shining through her, even those who were strangers wanted to talk to her everywhere she went.

She was mostly self-educated, taking online college courses and learning to type. She worked at seven different banks throughout Texas for a total of 27 years in different positions. All of the customers loved her and wanted her to take care of them. Even to this day we hear some of the customers coming in and asking for her.

Radell loved all animals, but especially hummingbirds and butterflies and taking care of all stray dogs and cats. She loved planting plants that would attract birds and butterflies. She loved sewing clothes for her granddaughters. She was a natural painter and artist who never took a course. She was a dyed-in-the-wool Dallas Cowboys football fan. You didn’t want to call her during a game; she would get very upset! Because her husband was a Texas Game Warden and was gone for many hours and sometimes for days at a time, football and going to church were her favorite pastimes. She would go to church seven days a week, if she could, to help with whatever they needed. She was a dedicated parishioner of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mexia, Texas. The summer she received the Lumen Gentium Award from the Catholic Diocese of Austin for her life, service, and participation in the ministry of Christ Jesus and the Church.

She will be truly missed by us all. Her family can’t even begin to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support from multiple denominations all over the world, including from the West Wall in Jerusalem.

She is survived by her mother, Eddell Virginia Kramer of Mexia, Texas; her loving husband of nearly 40 years, Harvey “Burt” Williams; her daughter, Stacey Cantu and her husband Gary of Colleyville, Texas; son, Jerry Milam and wife Kristen of Garland, Texas; daughter, Amy McHugh and husband John of Georgetown, Texas; son-in-law, Sheppard Parker of Bertram, Texas; and her numerous grandchildren, McKayla, Nate, Nic, Noah, Charlie, Molly, Emily, Maggie, Joshua, Addie, Isaac, Zoe, Kai, Autumn and Griffin.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ray E. Stilwell; and her daughter, Michelle Parker.

A private family ceremony will be held later.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mexia, Texas; The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews; The Waco Hospice, Animal Rescue of North Texas, or The Kittery in Mexia, Texas.
