Albert L. Zalman
Aug. 25, 1926 - Feb. 20, 2009


Albert L. Zalman of Bay City, formerly of El Campo, died February 20, 2009 at the age of 82.

He was born on August 25, 1926 in Wharton County to the late Anton and Albena Pilcek Zalman.

He owned and operated Zalman Gulf Service Station for over 30 years before his retirement. He was an Army veteran, a member of the American Legion Post 11 and a former member of the American Legion Post 251 and a life member of the VFW.

He is survived by: his companion of 20 years, Eldrid Schilhab of Bay City; sons, Frank Zalman of Georgia, Simon Zalman and wife Sandra of Moss Bluff, Louisiana, David Zalman and wife Vicki of El Campo, and Daniel Zalman and wife Roseanne of El Campo; grandchildren, Cullen, Britian, and Victoria Zalman, Chase and Danielle Zalman, and Kyle and Travis Zalman; sisters Mary Valchar and Agnes Zamazal, both of El Campo; and the Schilhab family-Carlene, Christina, Ramona, Theresa, Lonnie, Patricia, Coby, Blake, Matthew and Luke.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, wife Stefania Zalman; brothers, Anton, Dominic, Ed, Bill, Jake, Joe, and Celestine Zalman.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at Triska Funeral Home.

A wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Philip Catholic Church with the Rev. Gary Janak officiating.

Graveside services will follow at Holy Cross Memorial Park under the auspices of the American Legion Post 251.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Philip School Endowment Fund.

Colbee Lee Zamora

(November 15, 2012 - December 26, 2012)

Colbee Lee Zamora, infant son of Bobby Lee Zamora, Jr. and Jessika Danielle Sanchez, passed away December 26, 2012. He was born November 15, 2012 in Houston.

He is survived by his parents Bobby Lee Zamora, Jr. and Jessika Danielle Sanchez; sister Chloee Nicole Zamora; grandparents Caleb Wernly & Christina Cervantes, Bobby Lee Zamora, Jr. and Maria Zamora, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Garcia, Rachel and Roger Ramirez and Christy Sanchez as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Monday, December 31, 2012 at Harvest Time Church with Rev. Bobby Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.

EL CAMPO - Raymond Delapaz Zamora, 59, of Napa, Calif., and formerly of El Campo, died on July 16, 2008. He was born on Jan. 29, 1946 in Raymondville.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Delapaz Zamora of El Campo; sisters, Pearl Sandoval of El Campo, Virginia Vicencio of Houston, Josie Briones of Markham, and Isabel Huerta of Edinburg; brothers, Adam Zamora, Viviano Zamora Jr., and George Zamora, all of Houston, and John Zamora of Victoria.

He was preceded in death by his father, Viviano Zamora Sr. and his brothers, Samuel Zamora Sr. and Gilbert Zamora.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday at Triska Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, followed by funeral services at 2 p.m., at St. Philip's Catholic Church. Burial will be at Holy Cross

Antonette Nettie Zapalac
(September 18, 1915 - December 5, 2006)

ANTONETTE "NETTIE" MARY MAZOCH ZAPALAC

Markham - Nettie Zapalac, 91, of Markham has gone to be with our Lord.

Nettie was born to John and Barbara Mazoch on Sept. 18, 1915 in Borden, TX. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She passed away on December 5, 2006 at Memorial Medical Center in Port Lavaca, TX.

She was married to the late Steve Zapalac for 36 years. They lived on a farm near Midfield where they raised their 9 children.

Nettie enjoyed baking, canning, gardening, sewing, caring for animals, and life on the farm. She enjoyed caring for young children in her later years. Nettie was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Blessing, TX, a lifelong member of the KJZT (Catholic Fraternal of Texas), St. Peter's Altar Society, Catholic Daughters of the America's, and the Midfield Home Demonstration Club.

She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia and Nelo Seaman of Palacios, Evelyn Skutca of Markham, Wyonna (Nona) and Marvin Hurta of Ashby, Annette and Richard Stolleis of Richmond, sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and Jane Zapalac of Markham, Richard and Jo Ann Zapalac of New Braunfels, David and Barbara Zapalac of Markham, and Paul and DeeAnn Zapalac of Douglas, Wyoming. She is also survived by 23 grand children, 21 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren, sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Bob Morris of Baytown, Joyce and Robby Muckleroy of Harper, brothers, Leonard Mazoch of Baytown, Albert Mazoch of Beaumont, and John and wife Mary Mazoch of Orange and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband, Steve Zapalac, Sr, son and daughter-in-law, Eugene and La Verne Zapalac, infant granddaughter, Jeanna Zapalac, grandson, Roy Seaman, parents John and Barbara Mazoch, brother and sister-in-law, Ted and Lillian Mazoch, sister-in-law, Martha Mazoch, sister and brother-in-law, Hattie and John Parick, sister-in-law, Molly Mazoch, and niece, Carol Sebum.

Pallbearers are all the grandsons: Garry, Larry, and Greg Seaman, Craig Skutca, Richard Zapalac, Ronnie Zapalac, Chad Hurta, Jason Jessup, Zachary Zapalac, Eric Zapalac, Dustin Zapalac, and Jeffery Zapalac.

Honorary pallbearers are the granddaughters: Lauri Ann Perrone, Jeanna L. Zapalac, Shanna Skutca, Kimberly Hurta, Juliane Zapalac, Lindsey Zapalac, Brina Zapalac, Chelsea Zapalac and Dannielle Zapalac.

Rosary will be at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Blessing, TX on Thursday December 7, 2006 at 7:30 p.m.

Funeral services will be at St. Peter's Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m., Friday December 8, 2006 with Father Sam Appiasi, Father Charles Dwomoh, and Father Dan Morales officiating. Burial will follow immediately at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery in Blessing.

Joyce Ann Zapalac

 

Joyce Ann Zapalac, 60, of Angleton passed away Thursday, October 28, 2010 in Stafford after losing her long, hard, courageous battle with a lengthy illness.

Joyce was born July 17, 1950 in Freeport, Texas to Eldon and Geraldine Brooks Sifford.
 

Her father and her brother Robert Sifford preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Lewis Zapalac; mother Geraldine Sifford; son Michael Zapalac; brothers David and Michael Sifford; sister Janice Lancello and husband Donald; and one grandchild Briar Zapalac.


Funeral Mass is set for 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2010 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Burial will be in Hawley Cemetery in Blessing. CHARLES ZAPATA SR.
 

VICTORIA - Charles Zapata Sr., 86, has gone to his rest on Sunday, June 29, 2008. He was born Nov. 3, 1921, in Cuero, to the late Pedro and Ricarda Zapata.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Zapata; daughters, Cynthia Zapata of Victoria, Christine Vega of Victoria, and Carmen Herrera of Austin; sons, Pete Zapata of Bay City and Charles Zapata Jr. of Pflugerville; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, George Zapata.

He was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church where he served as an usher for many years. He was a lifetime member of VFW, CWV, and a World War II Veteran of the US Army. He earned an Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with three bronze stars, an American Defense Service Medal, Philippine Liberation Ribbon with one bronze star, a Good Conduct Medal, one service stripe, and five Overseas Service Bars.

He was very active in the community and all the organizations he was a member of. He will be greatly missed. He was a member of the Builder Association and retired after 40 years as owner of Zapata Construction Company.
Visitation will begin today at 2 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at Artero Memorial Chapel in Victoria. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Rosendo Zarate
(August 30, 1927 - August 16, 2007)

Rosendo Zarate, 79, of Bay City, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2007. He was born August 30, 1927 in Beaumont, TX to Gregorio Zarate and Maria Osuna Zarate. He was a lifelong resident of Bay City, the owner of Zarate's Café, and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

He is survived by his daughters: Maria Esther Ansaldua of The Woodlands, San Juanita Estrello & husband David of Freeport, Eva Lopez & husband Jose of Freeport, Patricia Ann Velasquez of Pasadena, Santos Lopez & husband Jimmy of Bay City, Juanita Hernandez & husband Domingo of Bensonville, IL, Angelia Cortinas of Pasadena and Felicia Ramirez of La Porte; his sisters: Amada Gonzales and Joyce Cantu of Bay City, Margaret Parrada and Mary Escobar of Houston, Hope Villarreal of California and Natalie Valadez of Aurora, CO; his brothers: Guadalupe Zarate of Ft. Emilia O. Zarate

A Rosary Service will be said for Emilia O. Zarate, 68, of Bay City at 7 p. m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, 1998 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home Chapel.

Zarate died Oct. 31 at John Sealy Hospital in Galveston. She was born July 3, 1930 in Palacios to the late Guadalupe and Carmen Lopez Ochoa.

She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and a resident of Bay City since 1960.

Zarate is survived by her husband, Rosendo Zarate of Bay City; daughters and sons-in-law, San Juanita and Davis Estrello of Freeport, Maria Esther Ansaldua of The Woodlands, Patricia Velasquez of Pasadena, Eva Jalomo of Freeport; Santos and Jimmy Lopez of Bay City, Juanita and Domingo Hernandez of Chicago, and Mamie Rodriguez of Pasadena; sisters and brother-in-law, Lillie and Louis Robles of Houston and Vidala Jalomo of Bay City; brothers and sister-in-law, Jacinto and Reva Longoria of Houston, Louis Longoria of Pasadena; 23 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.

Minerva Zboral, 31, of Bay City, passed away Monday, November 7, 2011. She was born January 18, 1980 in Galveston, TX to Guadalupe Suniga Zboral and Minerva Gonzales Zboral. She was a life-long resident of Bay City, a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and a homemaker.

Emil W. Zbranek
July 13, 1932 – March 6, 2013

Emil W. Zbranek of Bay City died March 6, 2013 at the age of 80.

He was born on July 13, 1932 in Wharton County to the late Emil A. and Mary Kubecka Zbranek.

He worked at the Rice Dryers in Bay City and El Campo for 28 years before retiring, and then he worked 13 years in the maintenance dept for Tidehaven ISD. He was an Army Veteran.

He is survived by: his wife of 51 years, Ruby Adams Zbranek of Bay City; sons, Chris Zbranek of Pasadena, California, Jeff Zbranek and wife Patricia of Blessing, Brian Zbranek of Austin, and Nathan Zbranek and wife Michelle of Bay City; brothers, Sylvester Zbranek and wife Patricia of El Campo, Anton Zbranek and wife Jo Ann of Pierce, and Andrew Zbranek of El Campo; sister, Mary Ann Smith and husband Lewis of Bay City; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Alice Supak and brothers William and Joe Zbranek.

Visitation was Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Triska Funeral Home.

The funeral Mass was at 10 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2013 at Holy Cross Church with the Rev. Greg Korenek officiating.

A parish rosary preceded the services at 9:30 a.m. in the church.

Graveside services with full military honors were at 2 p.m. Friday at St. John Catholic Cemetery in Taiton under auspices of the American Legion Post 251.

Pallbearers were Chris Zbranek, Jeff Zbranek, Brian Zbranek, Nathan Zbranek, Steve Morales, and Jerome Vacek.

Honorary pallbearers were Jared Zbranek, Josh Zbranek, Hayden Zbranek, Ethan Zbranek, Jayden Montague, and Brian Galow.

Eugene John Zemanek

Zemanek, Eugene John, age 37, died by accident near Batson, Texas, on May 19. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Pearl Zemanek, three children, Kimberly, Richard and Robert, and his mother Mrs. Mary Zemanek, all of Bay City. Mr. Zemanek was a member of the SPJST Lodge. Services will be held Saturday, May 22, 10:00 a.m. at Taylor Brothers Chapel. The Rev. Robert Porter will officiate, and interment will be in Hawley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Raymond Jones, Johnny Wied, Eddie Plunkett, Alvin Hadley, Jimmy Messer, Richard Clark and Joe Rutherford. Taylor Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Lydia Lillian Zemanek
(December 1, 1918 - June 21, 2008)

Lydia Lillian Zemanek, age 89, of Blessing, Texas passed away peacefully with her children by her side in Victoria, Texas on June 21, 2008 after a short hospital stay. She was born on December 1, 1918 in Birch, Texas to the late Ludwig and Clara Junek. Lydia married the late Victor Zemanek on September 1, 1943 in Blessing. In the early 1940’s, they bought a cotton farm and moved to Blessing where they raised their nine children and lived together for 52 years.

Lydia spent her early married years helping her husband establish a successful farming operation while raising her children and staying involved in their school and after-school activities. In retirement, she enjoyed watching her family grow with each additional grandchild or great-grandchild. Lydia was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Blessing. She was a devout Catholic and lived her daily life as a Christian. Lydia was a kind, caring person who loved her family and friends and took great joy in spending time with them. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Lydia lived a full and rich life with her family and friends. We take great comfort in knowing that she is now at peace in Heaven with her Lord.

Lydia’s life was centered around her family to whom she was totally devoted. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Zemanek, her daughter, Rose Marie Snyder, and her son-in-law, Donnie Genzer. She is also preceded in death by her brothers Edwin Junek, Joe Junek, and L. J. Junek, and her sister Mary Jane Lezak. She is survived by her children Victor Joe Zemanek and wife Ginger of Granbury, Texas; Mary Ann DeKunder and husband Tom of Schertz, Texas; John Henry Zemanek and wife Tracy of Marrero, Louisiana; Robert Zemanek and wife Joane of Victoria, Texas; Jerry Zemanek and wife Cindy of Grapevine, Texas; Doris Genzer of Markham, Texas; Lillian Chastain and husband Dennis of Cypress, Texas; Betty Jean Crain and husband Darrell of College Station, Texas; son-in-law Jim Snyder of Carrollton, Texas; eighteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her three sisters: Verna Turek of Palacios, Texas; Clara Gordon of Burnet, Texas; and Emma Jean Piwonka of Blessing, Texas.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. with Rosary following at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, June 23, 2008 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home in Bay City, Texas. Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Blessing with Father Samuel Appiasi officiating. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery in Blessing. Pallbearers will be her sons and sons-in-law.

Memorials may be made to St. Peter’s Catholic Church or to a charity of donor’s choice.

"Jerry" Paul Jerome Zenker
May 23, 1946 - April 27, 2009

On April 27, 2009, Jerry Paul Jerome Zenker, 62, followed his mother, Betty Arlene Zenker, home to be in the loving arms of his Lord Jesus Christ. He left this earth at 12 oclock noon surrounded by his family after a long battle with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

Paul was born May 23, 1946 in Flagstaff, Arizona to Betty Arlene and Vern Alwin Zenker. He grew up as an only child, yet with his Uncles Patrick Zenker and Carl Zenker who are of similar age. In 1964, at age 17, two days after graduating high school, Paul enlisted into the United States Army and served his country in the Vietnam War. On April 5, 1969, Paul Zenker and Dianna Ayotte were married. On June 2, 1970, the newly weds gave birth to their first son Vern Alwin Zenker II. On July 10, 1971 they gave birth to their second son Paul Jerome Zenker Jr.

Paul is survived by: his father, Vern A. Zenker; his two uncles, Carl Zenker and Patrick Zenker; his two sons, Vern A. Zenker II and Paul J. Zenker Jr.; and his grandchildren, Rachel Kamman, Darrian Farmer, Beth Clark, Charlie Clark, and Dylan Zenker and his close friends Joe and Dianna Major.

In his life time among other things, he served in the Coast Guard as an electrician, taught archery at Disney Land, and wrote an unpublished book. His loves included literature, movies, fishing, electronics, and cracking a good joke.

Pauls memory and life will be honored at 2 p.m. May 2, 2009 at Family Worship Center, 2717 9th Street Bay City, Texas.

Jerry, son, father, grandfather and friend, you will be missed in our hearts, yet we rejoice in knowing you are with our Lord. God be with you on your journey.

David Zepeda, 50 of Bay City, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2006 in Houston, TX. He was born June 9, 1956 in Bay City to Daniel R. Zepeda, Sr. And Adela Figueroa Zepeda. He was a lifelong resident of Bay City a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bay City, and a veteran of the US Marine Corp.

He is survived by his wife: Lorrie Ann Bloodgood Zepeda of Bay City; his sisters: Delia Trevino of Bay City, Ofelia Zepeda of Houston; Linda Gonzales of San Antonio, Helen Kovacs of Madisonville, and Diana Rodriguez of Bay City; and by his brother: Daniel F. Zepeda of Clute. His parents preceded him in death.

A prayer service will be held at 7:30 PM Sunday, December 17, 2006 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December 18, 2006 at Taylor Bros. Dolores A. Zepeda, 73, of Bay City died Wednesday, August 9, 2006 in Houston, Texas. She was born April 7, 1933 in La Costa, Texas to the late Bruno Arias, Sr. and Maria Vega Arias. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband; Isaac Zepeda, Sr. of Bay City, one daughter; Yolanda Aguilar of Pasadena, TX. 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Minnie Medina Zepeda
(December 17, 1930 - March 25, 2010)

BAY CITY - Minnie Medina Zepeda, 79, of Bay City passed away Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Oak Manor Nursing Home in Flatonia. She was born Dec. 17, 1930 in Northern Headquarters to the late G.B. and Josephine Perez Medina. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post 2438 in Bay City.

Survivors include daughters, Mary Ann Perez, Bonnie Sue Cano and Louis F. Pierce, Patricia Ham and Ronnie, Helen Medina, Elaine Pounder and James; sons, Adam and Abel Barlow; grandchildren and spouses, Marsha Lynn Cano, Christy and Jaime Huggins, Alexandra and Christopher Owen, Robert and Tiffany Reyna, Jason Cano, Jacob and Jennifer Cano, Jillian and Stephen Cagle, Patricia and Shelbey Barnett, Steve Ann Perez and Gene Burns, Thomas Cody Perez, Robert Truitt, Amber Ham and Yvette Coronado; 12 great-grandchildren; three sisters; and five brothers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elias R. Zepeda; grandson, John J. Cano Jr.; brothers, Tiny Medina and Gabriel Medina.

The family will receive visitors from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, March 29, 2010 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Susan Kennard of St. Mark's Episcopal Church officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers include Jacob Cano, Thomas Cody Perez, Stephen Charles Cagle and Shelbey Barnett.

James Pounder, Ronnie Ham, Adam Barlow, Abel Barlow, Christopher Owen, Robert Truitt, Jaime Huggins and Robert Reyna will serve as honorary pallbearers.

There are no words to express the care given to our Mom, Minnie, by the nursing staff at Oak Manor, especially Soladad Flores, Anabel Venegas, Angelica Morales, and Jearnell Williams and other members of the staff.

(July 29, 1944 - December 29, 2005)

Martha Lee Zernicek, 61, of Wadsworth died Dec. 29, 2005 at Matagorda General Hospital in Bay City. She was born July 29, 1944.

Survivors include, husband Michael H. Zernicek of Wadsworth; daughters Stacy Reine McKnight and Rachel Zernicek both of Bay City; son Charles Kevin Orr of Lakeview; sisters Margaret Bryant of Matagorda and Cookie Dement of Bay City; brother Joe Dement of Bay City and 6 grandchildren.

EL CAMPO - Mary Beth Ziegenhals, 84, of El Campo, died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2002. She was born Aug. 1, 1918, in Wharton, to the late C.E. and Ida Damron Jopling. She was a member of the United Methodist Women, El Campo Garden Club, Women's Club, Wharton County Historical Commission and was a past director for the Blessing Cup. She was a homemaker.

 

Survivors: daughter, Mary Ann Schubert and husband Ronnie of Fedor; sons, Bob Ziegenhals and wife Frances of Wharton, Bill Ziegenhals and wife Cindy, and Allen Ziegenhals and wife Martha, all of El Campo, and Lee Ziegenhals and wife Anita of Boerne; sister, Jeanette Gardner of Tomball; grandchildren, Courtney Sanderson, Karl Ziegenhals, Adam Ziegenhals, Robert Alford, Dustin and Sean Foster and Liesl Ziegenhals; and great-grandchild, Bradley Alford.

 

Preceded in death by: husband, Oscar Ziegenhals on Oct. 21, 1985; son, Fred Ziegenhals; parents; and brothers, C.E. Jopling Jr. and Tom Jopling.

Annie Lou Zigo, 87, of Van Vleck died Feb. 9, 2006. She was born Sept. 22, 1918 in Hungerford, TX to William Kessler, Jr. & Mary Elizabeth Morgan Kessler. She was a cook for the Van Vleck ISD for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Zigo; daughters, Mary Ann Yarborough & Louise Radford; sister, Etter Tice; brothers, William & Walter Kessler; & grandchildren Roy Yarborough, Jr. & Tonya Rucker. Funeral services for Bill Zigo, Jr., 91, of Van Vleck will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 6, 2001 at First Baptist Church in Van Vleck with the Rev. Joe Ramsey officiating.

Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. He died April 3, 2001 at Matagorda General Hospital. He was born May 20, 1909 at Wilburton, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by daughter Mary Ann Yarborough, one granddaughter and one grandson.

Julia Fay Zigo, 64, of Van Vleck, passed away Friday, February 4, 2011 in Bay City. She was born January 20, 1947 in Van Vleck to the late Bill Zigo, Jr. and Mary Kessler Zigo. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Van Vleck and a life long resident of Van Vleck.

She is survived by her brother: Bill J. Zigo of Van Vleck; and by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her sisters: Mary Yarbrough, Louise Radford, and Barbara Wilkinson; and by her brother: James Kessler.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, February 7, 2011 at the funeral home. EL CAMPO - Deloris Zimmermann of El Campo died Feb. 12, 2010 at the age of 78. She was born on Jan. 14, 1932 in Vox Popili to the late Henry and Hattie Kroboth Labay.

She is survived by her daughters, Diane Zimmermann of El Campo, Darlene Kubala and husband Wayne of El Campo, and Denise Sanders and husband Randy of Weimer; grandchildren, Keri Lambeth and husband Ryan, and their daughter Kierstyn of Victoria, Koy Kubala and wife Lora of Lubbock, Kaydi Gibson and husband Clayton of Alpine, Kody Kubala of Alpine, Jason Sanders and wife Lanie of Bay City, Kurt Sanders of Bay City, and Rodney Sanders of Bay City; sisters, Olivia Schelski of Houston and Joan Mahalitc of Garwood; and brother, Lonnie Labay of Garwood.
 

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Clarence Alton Zimmermann.
 

Visitation will begin at noon Monday, with a rosary being offered at 7 p.m., at Triska Funeral Home. The funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010 at St. John Catholic Church with Rev. Gabriel Odoro Tawiah officiating. Interment will follow at St. John Catholic Cemetery.
 

Serving as pallbearers are Koy Kubala, Kody Kubala, Ryan Lambeth, Clayton Gibson, Jason Sanders, Kurt Sanders, Rodney Sanders, and Slate Srubar.

Funeral services for Craig Zimmerman, 80, of Bay City, Texas will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 15, 2010 at First Baptist Church in Bay City. Dr. Michael Zimmerman assisted by Dr. Donnie Melton will officiate the service. A private family entombment will take place at a later time.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 13, 2010 in the State Room of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. There will be a visitation from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Taylor Brothers Funeral Home in Bay City.

Craig was born June 14, 1930 in Sinton to Elmer Daniel and Ella (Cantwell) Zimmerman. Craig was a longtime Funeral Director in the Rosenberg area and has been with Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home for many years as well as working at Taylor Brothers Funeral Home part time. Craig passed away August 11, 2010 in Richmond.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Betty (Olliff) Zimmerman; son, James Craig Zimmerman; and parents, Elmer and Ella Zimmerman.

Craig leaves behind to cherish his memories, wife, Betty Sanchez Zimmerman of Bay City; sons, Michael Zimmerman and wife, Julia, of Bay City and Dan Zimmerman of Bay City; daughter, Shelby Nicole Zimmerman of Bay City; daughter-in-law, Beth Zimmerman of Taft; brother, Kent Zimmerman and wife, Margaret, of Conroe; grandchildren, Craig Zimmerman of Beeville; great-great grandchildren, Damian Zimmerman of Beeville, Conner Zimmerman of Sinton and Allister Zimmerman of Sinton; along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who all love him dearly.

Timoteo G. Zustaita, 56 of Bay City, passed away Friday, July 7, 2006 at The Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX. He was born January 24, 1950 in Dolores Hidalgo Guanajuato, Mexico to Refugio Zustaita and Maria Gutierrez Zustaita. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Bay City, and he was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife: Juana Rubio Zustaita of Bay City; his sons: Jose Zustaita and Dario Zustaita, both of Bay City; his daughters: Carmen Zustaita of Bay City, Estela Rubio of Francitas, Marta Moreno of Blessing, Cecilia Zustaita, Magdalena Zustaita, Maria Zustaita and Elena Zustaita, all of Bay City; by his brother: Felipe Zustaita of Dolores Guanajuato, Mexico; his sisters: Rufina, Maria Elena, Manuela, and Matilde Zustaita all of Dolores Guanajuato, Mexico and Virginia Palomares of Blessing, TX; and by six grandchildren: Luis, Paola and Christy Rubio and Karla and Manuel Moreno and Alex Zustaita.
