Richard Ewing

Funeral services for Richard Ewing, 58, of Van Vleck will be held 2 pm Friday at First Baptist Church with Dr. W. D. Baker and the Rev. Mike Zimmerman officiating.  Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Van Vleck. 

Mr. Ewing was born Sept. 20, 1932, to Bruce and Myrtha Gray Ewing in Scurry and died May 21, 1991, at his home.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Seekers Sunday School Class and is a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2438.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Ewing of Van Vleck; daughter, Darlene Ewing of Dallas; daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie Gail and Jack Cargill of Houston; brother, Marris Ewing of Alvin; two sisters, Malta Fortner of Scurry and Doris Allen of Corpus Christi; and three grandchildren.

Services are under the direction of Dick R. Elkins of Bay City Funeral Home.
