Rains Co.TX Records in the Adjutant Generals Office
Fugitives from Justice
These records were found in material at the Dallas Library that contained lists of fugitives from different counties in Texas. The contributor wishes to remain anonymous because of the content.........Not all of us can claim ancestors who walked a straight line with the law. Please remember the times though.........these individuals, though indicted, may not have committed the crimes they were charged with, they just ran ..........and even today, you are guilty until you prove yourself innocent. But the information contained here, may give someone an idea of what their ancestor looked like, or why they left Rains County, and even a clue as to where they might have gone. Respectfully submitted.
