Pauline Hale Alls, 87, of Blacksburg, Va., died on Sunday,
January 23, 2011, at Lewis Gale/Montgomery Hospital. She was born in
Montgomery County, Va., on December 28, 1923.
Pauline was the last survivor of 16 children in the late Archie and Eva
Sites Hale family and was also preceded in death by her husband, Russell
C. Alls Sr.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Basel Alls, Russell
(Butch) Alls and wife, Carolyn, and Thomas Alls and wife, Judy all of
Blacksburg; five grandchildren, Kevin Alls, Neil Alls, Todd Alls, Brent
Alls, and Jason Alls; and eight greatgrandchildren.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Heritage Hall,
Claytor Lake Park Wing, also the 4th floor nursing staff at the Lewis
Gale/Montgomery Hospital for all their tender loving care for Pauline
during her illness. Funeral Services will be conducted 11 a.m. on
Wednesday, January 26, 2011, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor
Rador Vaden and Pastor Tony Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in
the Alls Family Cemetery, Mt. Tabor Road, Blacksburg. In lieu of flowers,
memorial contributions may be made to the Blacksburg Rescue Squad, 200
Progress St., Blacksburg, Va. 24060 or to the Alls Family Cemetery, c/o
John Chandler, 3797 Mount Tabor Road, Blacksburg, Va. 24060. The family
will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the McCoy
Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg.

Lowell Bradley Dalton, 68, of
Blacksburg, entered into God's Holy City on Tuesday, October 4, 2016. He
was previously employed by Electro Tec and retired from Alliant Tech
Systems after 18 years of service. He was preceded in death by his dad,
Eugene Dalton and sister, Lois Millis.He is survived by his loving wife of
34 years, Nina R. Dalton; precious daughter, Bethany L. Dalton; grandpuppy,
Queeny; mother, Effie Dalton, brother and sister-in-law, Titus and Glenda
Dalton; brother-in-law, Chuck Millis; treasured mother-in-law and
father-in-law; Elizabeth and Floyd Robinson; sister-in-law and
brother-in-law, Agness and John Chandler; niece and nephews, David Millis,
Jasmine and John Quiett, Chad Dalton; great niece and nephew, Gwen and
Simon Quiett; special cousins, Steven Robinson, Debra Walker.The family
wishes to thank the Indian Valley Church of God family for their
overwhelming support during Lowell's illness.Funeral services will be
conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, October 8, 2016 in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel
with the Rev. Kenneth Poston, the Rev. James Walker, and the Rev. Todd
DeBord officiating. Interment will follow in the Alls Family Cemetery, Mt.

William Floyd “Robbie”
Robinson, 93, of Blacksburg, went to be with his Savior on Wednesday,
September 6, 2017, at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. He was
preceded in death by parents G. C. and America Compton Robinson, siblings
Nora Simon, Versal Dittmar, Fay Miller, Lucretia Ferguson, Ray Robinson,
and beloved son-in-law Lowell Dalton.
He is survived by Elizabeth Dove Robinson, his devoted wife of 70 years;
daughters and son-in-law, Agness and John Chandler, and Nina Dalton;
granddaughter, Bethany Dalton; sister Betty Waldron; sisters-in-law Jane
Robinson and Wanda Dove-Hopkins; special friends, Peggy Carroll and
Randolph Vaden; numerous loved nieces, nephews, extended family, and
friends.
Robbie was a life-long farmer, business co-owner/mechanic, and was
retired from Virginia Tech Power Plant. A proud World War II Army
Veteran, he was honored with several awards including the Purple Heart
and Bronze Star for saving the lives of many with his acts of heroism.
Special thanks to Dr. Keith Madsen, Dr. Daniel Hurd, CNRV Hospital, Salem
VA Hospital, and Kroger Pharmacy University City Boulevard. The staff of
each facility is recognized.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at McCoy Funeral Home. Funeral
services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 9, 2017, by Rev.
Kenneth Poston, Rev. Jason Meredith, and Mr. Randolph Vaden at McCoy
Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Alls Cemetery.

Elizabeth Dove Robinson, age 95, of Blacksburg, went to her heavenly
home, Thursday, June 25, 2020, at Heritage Hall.
She was born in Montgomery County, VA, on May 2, 1925, to the late Harvey
W. and Ada Reed Dove.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, William Floyd
“Robbie” Robinson; son-in-law, Lowell Dalton; siblings, Leonard, Roy and
Willard Dove, Essie Compton, Ruby Early and Elsie Fugate.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Agness and John
Chandler, Nina Dalton; granddaughter, Bethany Dalton; sister, Jane D.
Robinson; sisters-in-law, Betty Waldron and Wanda Dove-Hopkins; special
friends, Peggy Carroll and Irmadean Eller.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 29, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. in
the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Poston and Pastor Jason
Meredith officiating. Interment will follow in
the Alls Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m.
prior to the service at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
