Patricia "Trish" Barton Osborne, 46, of
Greensboro, N.C., died Monday, June 7, 2004, at Wesley Long Hospital.
She was born Dec. 2, 1957, in Henry County, a daughter of Paul Wesley and
Mary Hungat Barton of Martinsville.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her husband of 19 years,
Clifford "Ron" Osborne of the home; one son, Chris Osborne; one
daughter, Laura Osborne of the home; two stepsons, Corey Osborne and Evan
Osborne of Martinsville; one sister, Teresa "Reece" Tuggle; one
brother, Warren Barton; and several other relatives.
She was an accountant with Unison and was a member of Pleasant Garden
Baptist Church for 15 years.
Funeral services were held Thursday at Maberry Funeral Home in Floyd.
Burial was in Tupeco Cemetery. The Revs. Michael Barrett and George Gorman
officiated. Pallbearers were David Cannaday, Frank Cannaday, James
Cannaday, Lewis Cannaday, Raymond Turner and Steve Barton.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Ave.,
Greensboro, N.C. 27405; or to Pleasant Garden Baptist Church, P.O. Box 157,
Pleasant Garden, N.C. 27313; or to Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church, 63
Circle Road, Martinsville, Va. 24112. Forbis & Dick Funeral Home in
Pleasant Garden, N.C., handled arrangements
