S. Ballinger, and a sister, Irene Smith. He is survived by his wife,
Dollie M. Ballinger of Willis; children and spouses, Phyllis J. and Carl
Palmer of Roanoke, Frances and Merl Martin of Check, Clyde, Jr., and
Jeannie Ballinger of Christiansburg, Jack and B. J. Ballinger of
Christiansburg, Darlene and Ronald Shelor of Floyd, William Ballinger of
Floyd, and Johnnie Ballinger of Floyd; 13 grandchildren, eight
great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Sylvia L. Keith of Warner
Robbins, Ga., Lossie M. Dickerson of Ridgeway, Ward W. Ballinger of
Willis, Robert W. Ballinger of Powers Springs, Ga., Helen Campbell of
Florida, David G. Ballinger of Perry, Ga., and Calvin K. Ballinger of
Warner Robins, Ga. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at
Gardner Funeral Home with the Rev. Ralph Duncan officiating. Interment
will follow in Ballinger Family Cemetery. Friends may call Friday at
Gardner Funeral Home where the family will be from 6 until 8 p.m.

Radford Ballinger, 79, of Willis, Va., passed away Sunday, November 1,
2009, at her home.
She was
preceded in death by her husband, Clyde "Coon" Ballinger.
She is survived
by three daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene and Ronald Shelor, Phyllis
Jean and Carl Palmer, Frances and Merl Martin; four sons and
daughters-in-law, Clyde Jr. and Jeannie Ballinger, Jack and B.J.
Ballinger, William Ballinger, Johnnie Ballinger; special grandson,
Jonathan Ballinger; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two sisters
and brothers-in-law, Nancy and John Setliff, Laura Faye and Gerald
Duncan.
Funeral
services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at
Gardner Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy Turpin and the Rev. Ralph Duncan
officiating. Interment will follow in the Ballinger Family Cemetery.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Gardner Funeral Home, where
the family will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Online condolences may be made to
