Sylvia Keith
April 15, 1925 - June 3, 2025
Sylvia Keith (Ballinger) age 100 passed away Tuesday June 3rd, 2025. Born in
Floyd, VA.
The oldest of 9 and the Matriarch
of the family, she was a devoted caretaker from a young age, taking on the
responsibility of caring for her younger siblings.
Known for her warm heart, always
ensuring that everyone was fed, offering kind words to uplift those around
her, she continued this nurturing role, providing love and support to
numerous children until her 90s. This also expanded to her green thumb and
her ability to make anything grow.
In the 1950s, Sylvia left Floyd and
settled in Warner Robins, GA, with her husband, Charlie Keith providing a
welcoming home where her siblings, nieces, nephews, and many others could
find care, support, and nourishment on their life journeys. Sylvia's legacy
of love and kindness will be cherished by all who knew her.
Proceeded in death by her loving
Husband Charlie O. Keith, Gulliver Ballinger (Father), Effie Semones
Ballinger (Mother), and Sisters/Brothers: Irene Smith, Bob Ballinger, Clyde
"Coon" Ballinger, Lossie Dickerson, Ward Ballinger, Guy
Ballinger, and Kirby Ballinger.
She is survived by her sister Helen
Campbell of Warner Robins.
