HARTFORD - Leland "Rex" Olderman, died Tuesday, November 9, 1999 at Columbia Hospital, Milwaukee, at the age of 68 years.

He was born on December 14, 1930 in Oconto to the late Lebrecht and Grace (nee Pellow) Olderman. He was a graduate and 50 year Alumnus of Gillett High School and he served in the U.S. Army in Korea. He married Anita Nehls on March 21, 1964 in Milwaukee. He was self-employed as a custom cabinet-maker, owning and operating Rex Cabinets in Hartford. He also worked part-time at P.J.'s Dental Lab in Hartford.

He is survived by his wife, Anita, two sons, Donald (Elizabeth) of Green Bay, and Steve of Hartford, a granddaughter, Phoebe Olderman of Green Bay, three sisters, Joyce (Arnold) Block of Gillett, Margaret Thoffika of Kenosha, and Yvonne (Harvey) Kirchenwitz of Pulaski, a sister-in-law, Mavis (Doug) Zimmerman of Lakewood, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Walter "Jack". The funeral was held Friday, November 12 at the Myrhum-Patton Funeral Home, West Bend, with the Rev. Jerry Repenshek of Holy , Angels Catholic Church officiating. Burial at Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend.
