Provided to us by: Sharon Tabor In The Name of God Amen, I Michel Uhle of the County of Bedford & state of Virginia Being weak in Body but of sound & Perfect Memory thanks be given unto god & calling to mind the mortality of my Body & knowing that it is appointed for all of us to die doe make this my Last Will & Testament that is to say Principally & first of all I give & recommend my soul into the hand of Almighty God who gave it & my body I recommend to the earth to be Buried in a Decent Christian manner at the Disgression of my friends Nothing Doubting but I shall Receive it again a the general resurrection of the Just & as touching such Wordly Estate as it hath pleased god to besto upon me in this Life I give Do??? & Dispose of in the following Manner & form first I give & Bequeath unto my Loving wife all that I posses During her life & to then be Divided after her Death in the following manner I give to my son Michle Uhle forty Pounds also I give to my Daughter Mary Licha fifty pound I give also to my son Jacob Uhle a Tract of Land joining William Canada & Elisha Burnit & John Ayres according to the metions of the Deed more or Less to him & his heirs forever also I give to my Daughter Elizabeth Groves Twenty five pound also I five to my son Frederck Uhle twenty five pounds I also give to my Daughter Cristenah Uhle the land on which I now Dwell together with two heiffers two Sheep & two sows & one colt & one bed one Iron Pot & Two Dishes & half a Dozen Spoons one Spinning wheel one frying Pan & one Chest I also make & appoint my wife Mary Uhle & John Ayres my Executors & I do hereby utterly Disallow revoke & Dusanul all & every other Wills Legaces of Bequest Ratifying & Confirming this & no ohter to be my Last Will & Testament In ??? whereof I have here unto set my had & affixed my seal this the twentyeight day of Decembe of one thousand seven hundred & ninety. Signed Sealed & Delivered In Presents of /s/ Mikae Uhle Samuel Best Drucilla Best John Nichols At a Court held for Bedford County the 28th day of February 1791 This Last Will & Testament of Michael Uhle Deceased was proved by the oath of Samuel Best Drucilla Best & John Nichols witness whose names are hereunto Subscribe & ordered to be Recorded & at a Court held for said County the 26th day of September 1791 on the motion of Mary Uhle the Executrix therein named who made oath & hereto Certificate is Granted & her for obtaining probate thereof in due form on Giving Security whereupon she together with Frederich Uhle & Jacob Uhle her Securities entered into & acknowledged their Bond in the penalty of five hundred pounds Conditioned for the said Executrix did & faithful administration of the said Decedents estate & performance of his will Liberty being reserved to John Ayers the Executor therein named to Join in the probate thereof when he shall think fit.
