Christine Elizabeth Dalton Burton Merix

Christine Elizabeth Dalton Burton Merix, age 82, of Dublin, VA died Saturday, November 21, 2009, in the Pulaski Community Hospital. She was born in Pulaski Co. on August 14, 1927 and was the daughter of the late Druary aand Sarah Coalson Dalton.
She was also preceded in death by her husbands, George C. Burton and Roy (Shorty) Merix, her son Larry Wayne Burton, one step-daughter, son-in-law Lenford Dalton, two brothers, five sisters, 4 half-brothers, 6 half-sisters and by two great-grandchildren. She was a retired employee of Pulaski Furniture Corp.

Surviving are: children and in-laws - Doug & Patty Umberger, Bobby & Drema Burton, Judy Dalton, Sandra Burton; one step-son, three step-daughters, one brother Clarence Dalton, two sisters-in-law Ruth Dalton, Ruby Dalton, ten grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.  Burial was in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.
