Jack Toney Dalton

Jack Toney Dalton, age 68, of Gretna died Monday, Dec. 22, 2008 at his residence. Born Sept. 10, 1940, in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of the late Toney Latte Dalton and Dora Lee Dalton. Mr. Dalton was a retired employee of Ericsson and was an Army veteran of Vietnam. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, landscape painting, cars, traveling, and camping.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Pickerel Dalton, of the residence; one son, John E. Dalton and wife, Anita M. Dalton of Chatham; one daughter, Sarah Bailey and husband, Dr. Russell Bailey of Poquoson; one sister, Juanita Dalton of Gretna; one step-grandchild, Katherine Cassidy; one grandson, Ethan Dalton and one granddaughter Reagan Bailey. Funeral services were Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2008 at the Colbert-Moran Chapel. Burial followed in Carol O. Moran Memorial Garden.
