James H. Dalton

James Harrison "Dee" Dalton, age 60, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2008 in the Smyth County Community Hospital in Marion, Virginia. He was born in Smyth County to the late William G. & Bessie Evans Dalton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Cecil Dalton and a sister, Carol Wymer. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving his country during the Vietnam war. He had been employed at Sure-Wood Manufacturing in Chilhowie for several years. Survivors Include: Three Brothers: Jack Dalton & wife Ann, Marion Garnett Dalton & wife Faye, Marion Allen Dalton, Marion One Sister: Jean Havens, Marion Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousin, Former Co-Workers & Friends also survive.  Funeral services were held November 30, 2008, at Bradley's Funeral Home Chapel;  interment followed in Rosewood Memorial Gardens with Full Military Honors.
