James Ray Dalton, Sr.
   Danville, Virginia
James Ray Dalton Sr., 61, of 601 Bridge St., Apt. 309, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 
2008 at his residence. Born April 11, 1946, in Martinsville (Henry County), he 
was the son of Edith Roark Dalton and the late Harry DALTON.  He had lived 
most of his life in the Axton community. He had worked for Tultex for 30 years 
before becoming disabled.  He was married to Judy Clifton Dalton.

In addition to his mother and his wife, he is survived by a son, James Ray 
DALTON Jr., of Axton; two brothers, Clyde DALTON, of Brosville and Boogie 
DALTON, of Cascade; three sisters, Bobbie Quesenberry, of Axton, Gaye Kiely of 
Danville, and Betty Bull of Maryland; and one grandchild.  He was predeceased
