Lona Goad Dalton

Lona "Lonie" (Goad) Dalton died in 1995 at the age of 100.  She was the widow of Jayhue Dalton of Carroll Co VA.  Her sister, Hattie (Goad) Haas, died at age 100 in 1997 and sister Polly Jezebel (Goad) Fish at age 98 in 2004.  Their parents died at 90 and 98.  We grandchildren always joked that Grandma Goad died "so young" because she had twelve children.   These sisters descend from four of William Dalton's children;  William, d. 1811, was the founder of the Grayson/Carroll Dalton clan.
