Below are some notes of different genealogist's in Pittsylvania County that have been transcribed by various volunteers.  The spelling of the names etc have been copied just as they were originally done. My thanks to the many volunteers that have contributed their time. Click on the blue family name to take you to the notes of the different families. Each name includes information about more than just the titled family.  Be sure to check it out. (As you can see a lot of the names in the index to the Anderson Genealogical Notes have not been transcribed as of now.)

Anderson, Sr., (Blandford Towler), include Anderson, Arthur, Pendleton, Nuckols, Morley, Grubb,64 different families in
all. With my mother, Gladys Nuckols Wood, I took her boxes of notebooks and notes to the Library about 20 years ago.
There are also Bible Records, including any loose papers that were with the Bibles--Reynolds, Motley (2) Nuckols/Goggin,
Easley, Grubb

      When talking (e-mailing) to an old friend about the Pittsylvania website, he
wondered if there were an index to Blandford's notes and notebooks.  I
checked and found that I did have one.  I am sending you this list which I
keyed-in; my scanner wouldn't work.  If you think it would be useful for the
website, please put it on.  I don't think the VA State Library folk listed
all of the families here, but most.
