Cox, 47, of 523 Jackson Avenue, former employee of the Pulaski Veneer Corp., died at 8:10 a.m. yesterday in the Pulaski Hospital following an illness of four weeks. Survivors include his widow, three sons, Cecil, Ray and Ralph; one daughter, Nellie; his mother and two sisters, of Indianapolis, Ind.; and one brother, of Danville,Va . Funeral service will be held from the Pentecostal Holiness church at 2:30 p.m. today with the Rev. J. W. Vaughan in charge, assisted by the Rev. W. E. Rogers. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Active pallbearers include Verne DeCamp, J. T. Stouts, J. A. Sanders, H. D. Morris, Roy Swain and C. R. Holliday. Flower girls will be the members, class No. 4, of the young people's society of the church. Honorary pallbearers include C. E. Richardson, Frank Harkrader, Frank Allen, T. P. Morris, Maynard Harriman, L. W. Stuart, A. F. Walls, H. G. Herron, W. T. Hall and D. P. Dennison. Also P. W. Whittington, T. M. Seagle, H. L. Bishop, G. T. Duncan, C. B. Rupe and Earl Swain. Lodge members of the local 12280 Modern Woodmen of America, of which Mr. Cox was a member, are listed as honorary pallbearers also. They include J. B. Hall, W. F. Blackburn, D. F. Nester, G. E. Meredith, Mac Gallimore, L. F. Bentley, O. S. Vaughn, E. D. Calfee and E. P. Bunts.
