Pictured is Martha Hendrix & the children of Jefferson Davis Thomas & Martha F. Vermillion. Martha Hendrix cared for the Thomas children after their mother Martha Vermillion Thomas died on 24 April 1905. The girl on the left is Elizabeth B. Thomas Worley b. 9 Dec 1890 & d. 17 July 1967. The boy in front of Elizabeth is Ira Melvin Thomas b. 3 Oct 1898 & d. 8 Mar 1979. The smallest boy on the right is Kemper Reynolds Thomas b. 20 Aug 1900 & d. 1946. The larger boy on the right is unidentified. The father of these three children, Jefferson Davis Thomas, was b. 17 Dec 1861 & d. 30 Jan 1919. This photo appears to probably have been taken shortly after Martha Vermillion Thomas' death.
