PLEDGE SUPPORT-United Spanish War Veterans of Kentucky, whose annual convention opened in Newport Friday, adopted the following resolution, a copy of which was telegraphed to President Woodrow Wilson:

"Resolved, that whatever our personal sympathies may be, we are Americans first, and pledge our united support to Present Wilson and Old Glory." Signed, United Spanish War Veterans of Kentucky by George G Reiley, Department Commander.

REILEY, George G, husband of Nellie (nee Stephens) died at Huntington West Virginia. Funeral Monday, June 22, 1936 from Dobbling Funeral Home, Bellevue Ky. at 2 pm. Interment in Alexandria Cemetery.

George G Reiley was born 29 August 1874 in Alexandria Ky. to John James Reiley and Lucy Greenwood. His grandfather was Benjamin Franklin Reiley who also served in the Civil War and Spanish American War.

He enlisted and served also in the Spanish American War as a 2nd Lt. Co G 2nd Kentucky Infantry.

George died 20 June 1936 in Huntington, West Virginia and was buried in the Alexandria Cemetery.
