Dorothy Bridwell Long was the daughter of J.T. "Tom" Bridwell and Pearl Rakestraw, both buried here. Her paternal grandparents were Wm. H. H. Bridwell and Sarah Elizabeth "Bet" Thornberry , both buried here. Maternal grandparents were Josiah Trent Rakestraw (1852-1918) and Fredonia Tompkins (1853-1935), who are buried at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
