Margaret (Gee) Woodard

 December 1869* - November 7, 1955

Margaret and her husband Henry Woodard** [May __, 1867 – January 15, 1938] are buried at Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery.***  It is believed their son Private Ward Woodard is buried in an unmarked grave in this cemetery as most of his family rests there.  He died on July 29, 1918 at the Base Hospital Camp Travis, San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas of probable Spanish Flu.

*1900 Federal Census for Pct. 2, Matagorda County, TX gives her birth date as Dec 1869.  On her Death Certificate it gives September 6, 1896.  Her gravestone gives Bor[sic] 1872.
 

**Marriage license gives his name as Henry Woodman and Henry Wooderts.

***Location of Henry Woodard’s grave is unknown but presumed to be next to Margaret.
