Laura (Kimble) Warren

December __, 1875 - ____ __, ____)

There is insufficient information available.  There is no marriage registration in Matagorda County, Texas for William Warren and Laura Kimble, believed to be the parents of Eugene Warren. A best guess analysis of the Pct 4, Matagorda County, Texas Federal Census concerning the Kimble and Warren families reveals that there appears to be at least a separation between William and Laura.  William appears to have returned to his father’s home (Jake Warren) without taking any of the children with him.  Laura appears to have at least temporarily moved in with a Henry Hudge, as his cook.  She has Eugene with her.  It appears their other child, Skinner Warren has been left in the care of his Grandparents, Reddick and Mary J. (Amboree) Kimble.  There appears to be a conflict in the date of birth for the two boys.

Disclaimer:  This synopsis was constructed from information taken from the 1900 Federal Census for Justice Precinct 4, Matagorda County, Texas concerning the Warren and Kimble families.  No effort is being made to establish as fact that this interpretation is correct.  Its’ sole purpose is to provide a basis for future investigation.  Any person having information that confirms or contradicts this analysis is asked to email
