Johnson, Carl H. & Sutton, Fannie H.

On Sunday, August 30, 1908, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Chase in this city, Mr. Carl H. Johnson and Miss Fannie H. Sutton were happily united in wedlock by Rev. D. W. James.  Mr. Johnson is a prosperous druggist of Ord, Nebr.  Mrs. Johnson is the youngest daughter of Mr. A. Sutton, formerly a resident of Loup City, but now living at Ord.  There were present only the immediate family of the bride and a brother of the groom, namely, Mr. Alonzo Sutton.  Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Chase, Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Waite, Mr. and Mrs. Rowan Sutton, Grandma Waite, Miss Jennie Sutton, Mr. Frank Johnson and the little nephews and nieces of the bride.  The house was prettily decorated in golden rod, which the many friends of the young couple hope is a prophecy of the wealth of happiness they will enjoy.  Following the ceremony a sumptuous wedding dinner was served, which was greatly appreciated.  Mr. and Mrs. Johnson will spend a week in Omaha and then return to Ord where they will make a home for the bride's father.  The happy pair have the best wishes of a host of friends.

Kaiser, William & Chotena, Charlotte

William Kaiser and Miss Charlotte Chotena, both of Ord, were married at St. Paul, Neb.  After the wedding the couple departed for a short wedding trip.  They will make their home in Ord.

Kupke, Charles K. & Lewis, Nancy J.

MARRIED.  At the home of Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Harding of East Lincoln, Neb., July 9, 1917, Mr. Charles K. Kupke of North Loup, Neb., and Miss Nancy J. Lewis of Loup City, Neb., J. L. Dunn officiating.  Miss Lewis is well known in this community, having lived here a number of years.  Mr. Kupke is an industrious young farmer, having accumulated considerable property and is the owner of a good farm well improved seven miles southwest of North Loup, where the young couple will hereafter make their future home.  Many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Kupke join in wishing them a happy and prosperous journey through life.
