The object was to select the chairman and members of the various committees.

It was decided after everyone had expressed her opinion to that effect that we would have an entirely new person on the committees as far as possible.

After the pros and cons had been considered as to the advisability of having the St. Cecilia Society as an auxiliary of the Club, it was decided best not to do so. They were asked however to give us one program during the year.

There being more than one nominee for chairmanship of some of the committees, ballots were taken.

The Music Department was first considered. Mrs. J. W. Hansel chairman, Miss Grace Smith, Mrs. Henry Kahnt, Mrs. Orville White.

The Library Committee was then chosen.

The Education Committee was chosen next.

Mrs. E. C. Van Ness chairman; Mrs. F. M. Pine, Mrs. M. A. Travis

The dates for the meetings was looked up and Sept. 18 chosen for the first meeting. This gave 21 meetings with three business meetings in Sept., January and June.

The Board decided to give a reception to all Club members early in October at the home of Mrs. Holsworth.

The Corresponding Secretary was asked to notify the chairmen of the various committees of their election and ask them to have their com. meetings as early as possible to place the year's work.

The Organized Play of which she had charge would be discontinued when school opened. Mrs. Elmer was added to the Home Economics committee to take the place of Mrs. Herbage.
