Millersville

Roberts Dairy - this property was located at the corrner where Millesrsville Road and 42nd Streets meet.  Running along the east side of the property is a stream that, as I was growing up in the neighborhood, we referred to it as Milky Stream.  Why?  At one time the dairy was believed to have dumped milk in the stream, which runs northward and connects with Fall Creek River.  As a youngster, I spent many hours hanging out with friends and playing in the narrow wooded area that ran from Millesville Road to the River.
