Previously, I created a page which was originally housed on the INGenWeb state page with materials for various counties with respect to military history. I no longer manage that page; however, I will be adding material here that will be dealing only with Marion County, its military rosters and other county information, material and links to the contributions made by residents of Marion County, Indiana. Please also do not hesitate to direct me toward any materials you are aware of that will assist those researching their ancestors in this county. There is some very interesting information about the military in the War with Mexico section, as well as Military Orgaization, 1860, Civil War Period, and Establishing the Arsenal, which will all be found under the Historical section.
