VETERANS MEET-Spanish War veterans of Campbell Co. Saturday night perfected a temporary organization by electing J C Wright temporary chairman and A E Nordheim temporary Secretary. Another meeting will be held Aug 3, when it is expected that the charter will arrive. Those who signed the roster were Paul A Platz, William Lyons, Claude Bradley, Virgil A Burr, Fred Steinheim, George Rickerson, Charles F Pohl, Fred Winkless, J M Nordheim, William McCleve, Albert Nordheim, Hugh Keenan, James C Wright and W Mart Miller.

Virgil Arthur Burr died 17 Aug 1943 in Cincinnati Ohio, and was buried in the Laurell IOOF Cemetery in Cincinnati.
