Tombstones for Milton Marshall Brown, Born 12th day of January 1795, Died 23rd day of October 1852. For many years a Magistrate of his native County and a useful member of Society. He lived to experience the vanity of human pursuits and the mockery of earthly possessions when the heart is left desolate by the severing of every enduring tie. Over his errors, if he had any, let the reader of this inscription throw the mantle of charity and commensuration. For he was a man of sorrow and acquinted with grief. Note: Some bootleggers misplaced this tomb some years ago to get the bricks on which it rested.
