Leonard Ceasar

Services will be held for Leonard Ceasar, 86, of Bay City, 2 pm Tuesday at Enterprise Baptist Church.  Officiating at the services will be the Rev. A. H. Pointer.

Ceasar died September 3, 1982 at Matagorda General Hospital.

Survivors include wife, Mrs. Mattie Ceasar of Bay City; daughter, Veronica of Houston; son, Henry Ceasar of Bay City; brother, Elmo Cesar of Bay City; sisters, Mrs. Estell Campbell of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Elnora Thomas of Huntsville, Mrs. Addie Bell Morteridole of El Campo; granddaughter, LoTonia Joseph of Bay City; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation is 4 to 9 pm today (Monday) at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow services at Eastview Cemetery.

Mattie Ceasar

Funeral services for Mattie Ceasar, 80, of Bay City will be held at 1 pm Saturday at Enterprise Baptist Church, Bay City, with the Rev. A. H. Pointer officiating.  Burial will be in Eastview Cemetery, Bay City. Visitation will be until 9 pm today at Duncan Roberts Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ceasar was born Sept. 10, 1905, in Texas to Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Jackson and died March 25, 1986, at Ben Taub Hospital, Houston. She was a member of the Baptist church.

Survivors include three daughters, Veronica Ceasar, Latony Joseph and Louise Williams, all of Houston; three sons, Vonnie Dones, the Rev. George Johnson and Edward Johnson of Houston; 25 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are with Duncan-Roberts Funeral Home.
