Dinwiddie County, Virginia
Established in 1770
When Ancestry migrated and made "read only" the legacy RootsWeb platform, which was the host site for the Dinwiddie County, Virginia USGenWeb pages, some early pre-2006 USGenWeb transcriptions were not transferred to modern servers and became unavailable to researchers. As part of our Dinwiddie County USGenWeb Record Recovery Project, we are actively recovering and republishing these lost resources into our updated local repository.
Special Thanks: We extend our sincere gratitude to former County Coordinator Carol A. Morrison (Fayetteville, NC) for providing the transcriptions of the tombstones at White Oak UMBC Cemetery tombstones.
