[Page 1] We the undersigned after having been first duly sworn have viewed a Runaway negro man in the Jail of the Town of Petersburg named Joe belonging to Mrs Elizabeth Harper of the county of Dinwiddie & have valued him to be worth four hundred Dollars Given under our hands this 20th day of Feby 1829.
