George Adams Bain and Frances Mary Carney were married in Newbern, North Carolina, October 17, 1825. By the Reverend Thomas Howard.

George Spilman Bain and Ann Whitfield Christian were married in Petersburg, Virginia, July 15th, 1831. By Reverend N. Head

John Wesley Bain and Mary Ann Fraser were married in the County of Dinwiddie at the residence of John W. Fraser, on the 13th day of July, 1871. By the Reverend G. W. P. Parham.

George Adam Bain, son of Hope and Elizabeth Bain, was born in Baltimore County, Maryland, July 6, 1798.

Frances Mary Carney, was born in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, October 31, 1809.

The following are the names of the children of George A. and Frances M. Bain:

James Carney, was born in Newbern, North Carolina, April 6, 1827.
William Field Bain was born at Benjamin Waller's, in Williamsburg, Virginia, July 20, 1831.
Edward Thorne Williams Bain, was born in Warrenton, North Carolina, at the parsonage, July 30, 1834.
Mary Elizabeth Bain, was born at Henry W. Eppes, in Sussex County, Virginia, October 2nd, 1836.
Edward Bain Bain, was born at Mrs. Sarah Thompson's in Dinwiddie County, Virginia, August 28th, 1838.
Florence Eliza Bain, was born at the parsonage in Manchester, Virginia, July 17th, 1845.
John Wesley Bain, was born at the parsonage in Lawrenceville, Brunswick County, Virginia, September 9, 1842.
Agnes Frances Bain, was born in Petersburg, Virginia, November 29, 1848.

George Spilman Bain was baptized by the Reverend C. Thomas.
William Feild Bain was baptized by the Reverend W. S. Peyton.
Edward Thorne Williams Bain was baptized by the Reverend G. W. Dey.
Mary Elizabeth Bain was baptized by the Reverend J. Keen.
Edward Bain Bain was baptized by the Reverend L. S. Kidmore.
John Wesley Bain was baptized by the Reverend H. D. Crowder.
Florence Eliza Bain was baptized by the Reverend Thomas Crowder.
Agnes Frances Bain was baptized by the Reverend William Rowzee.

Deaths:

Edward Thorne Williams Bain died in Petersburg, Virginia, Aug. 16, 1837.
Frances Eliza Bain died in Petersburg, Virginia, September 6, 1845.
Agnes Frances Bain died in Petersburg, Virginia, Aug. 16, 1849.
George Adam Bain died in Petersburg, Virginia, May 27, 1850.
