I am looking for help with the BURNELL family. John BURNELL appears in the 1880 census in Urbana Twp, Champaign County, 50 years old. All his children were born in Ohio, John in Ireland. My own great-grandfather was Henry BURNELL, also born in Ireland. He fathered Roy Wheeler BURNELL, my grandfather, in central Pennsylvania in 1894, but appears in neither the 1880 nor 1900 PA census. He supposedly came from Ireland with his two brothers, one of whom headed West (from PA). So I am looking at Burnells in Ohio who were born in Ireland, hoping to find a connection to the family. Any and all help greatly appreciated!!!

Searching for any info. on my grandfather G. Paul Essman, b.Jan 25, 1867, Tn., died Mar. 26, 1917, Urbana, Ohio. (His death certificate states his parents as: Joseph Essman & Mary Slockhart, both born in Germany. My grandmother Essman's maiden name was Amy Francis Hardy, b. 1869, Ohio. Her parents were: Samuel K. Hardy, b.1846, and Mary E. Hardy, b. 1848. My grandparents' Essman were living in Urbana, Ohio in the 1900 Census, along with my gr grandparents' Hardy. My grandfather Essman started the Friends Evanglical Church in 1906 in Urbana. He also either owned or worked in a grocery store in Urbana, I know that for a fact because on his death certificate it states that he died of a heart attack in the grocery store. On the 1900 census, the Essmans' and Hardys' lived only three houses away from each other. I have a picture of my mother, Dorothy Rachael Essman , dated 1917 in front of a house with the address 212 West Ward Street on the back. I would like to know what was at that address back in 1917. Thanks for any help I may receive.
