John COWAN, my gg-grandfather, was living in Rosedale, Madison Co. in 1853. Elizabeth Ann (Cowan) HOWARD, John's sister, wife of Leander HOWARD, was a few miles away in Mechanicsburg, Champaign Co. in the 1870's. John and Elizabeth were originally from Delawre Co., NY, and were children of William and Mary (Chisholm) COWAN. Mary is believed to have remarried to a man with the surname GUY, and may have also been living in the same area of Ohio. Does anyone have information on any of these people?

Looking for Igou information from Champaign, Ohio. I believe that I am a direct descendent of Amanda Igou. Daughter of Peter Igou and Susan McKenzie Igou. If I am correct, the Amanda Igou you have at some time researched, was born in Ohio. She was born in 1834 in Champaign, Wayne Township. She was married in Champaign, Ohio on December 28, 1852. Amanda and William Jenkins had several children. There names are: Mary Emma Jenkins Bunker, Lillian P. Jenkins Gallup, Lorin Eldon Jenkins and possibly Lucille E. Jenkins Gallup. Amanda, William, Mary Emma, Lillian and Lucille are buried along with Mary Emma's husband (Robert A. Bunker) in Indianapolis, Indiana. I am a direct descendant of Lorin Eldon Jenkins who married Donna Belle Bryant Jenkins, in Montgomery County, Indiana. One of their children William Mackenzie Jenkins was my great-grandfather. Are you related to this family in some way? Do you have any information that would help me prove that my Amanda Igou is for sure Peter and Susan Igou's daughter. Would you be interested in sharing information? If so, please E-mail me back. Thank you, Gean Jenkins Dunbar 17 Park Ave. Lafayette, Indiana 47904
